Shri Nathji GodIncarnate

The author of this website is Priya Nath Mehta, who is a former scholar and nuclear physicist from Harvard University. He is the son of H.H. Shri Bhola Nathji Bhagwan about whom this dissertation has been written.

The twentieth century saw the advent of a Great Being who was the Cosmic or Universal Soul or the Incarnation of God upon earth, - a Being of Light Divine,carrying with Him the Eternal Message of Love for humanity. He came upon the earth as an answer to the need of the times.

He was born upon this planet on the 23rd of June 1902 and lived upon the earth for ninety years, showering His Divine Grace and Blessings upon humanity and alleviating the ills and sorrows of mankind, and ultimately saving the world from the most terrible destruction in history from a nuclear holocaust.

People of all faiths, intellectuals, scientists, philosophers, the common folk everywhere, and even atheists, were drawn towards him. Men, women and children flocked to him in multitudes. People experienced an overwhelming force of Love in his presence, and were taken to a plane of indescribable Bliss and Peace where space and time did not exist. He had the power to grant God-Realisation to people in an instant, and to convert atheists to believers in a single glance. In his personality people experienced God .

His name was Bhola Nath, or His Holiness Shri Bhola Nathji Bhagwan. . He was lovingly called Shri Nathji, by all. He was the most beautiful person upon earth with a beauty that was not of this world but was Divine in origin, with a radiance so strong that it bathed his face in a Light Divine. All who looked upon his face knew
at once that they were looking upon the Face of God upon earth.

He did not establish any cult or sect or separate faith, nor did he initiate followers , but would often say:

" I have a relationship with all. To include only a few is to exclude the rest of the world."

"I see in every religion my own religion and my religion in every religion. Water is that which quenches your thirst, call it by any name that you like. All the rivers flow down to the same ocean. All have one Father and all are His children. In this thought alone all religious differences can cease to exist."

Miracles followed him wherever he went. The incurably sick were cured, people were raised from the dead, hopeless failures succeeded, barren parents conceived, peace was returned to the inconsolable. People had visions of him even when he was thousands of miles away. The forces of Nature were held in abeyance, rivers in spate were halted. Wars were averted. The events of the external world appeared as chess pieces before him.

However he attached no importance to these events and said:

"Speak not to me of miracles,
For I have left miracles behind."
" The greatest miracle for me is the light of faith which I kindle in your hearts,
and which not even the greatest storms of the world can blow out. "

He was the humblest Being in existence and called himself in all humility: Ghulam Rue Zameen, which is Persian for : the Servant of the Earth.

He used to say :
" I am a very old companion of yours,
I was your companion even before the Universe came into existence."

" I have not come to ask anything of you,
I have come to give you of myself ."

" I am not that light which rests only upon your heads,
I am that light which rests upon your feet as well."

" I am eternally free, but I shall remain in bondage till the last person on earth is free."

His arms went out to embrace humanity and his voice carried the nectar of life. To listen to his words was to be transported to another plane where only peace and bliss remained. It was not the voice of an ordinary orator. It was the Voice of God.

"This is not my voice, It is the Voice of God.
I can go on speaking till eternity."

He described his mission in life with the words:

"I have no mission except Love in this world.
My mission is Love and my work is Love."

The advent of H.H. Shri Bhola Nathji upon this planet earth showed that the Eternal, Invisible God, who already resides everywhere and in every person can also assume a special human form of His own choosing in which His Divine Beauty and Divine Qualities are made manifest. His life and teachings left behind an invaluable legacy for mankind which shall continue to guide the people of the world for ages to come. He wrote widely in various languages- Hindi, Urdu, Persian and English. These writings are divine revelations .

H.H. Shri Bhola Nathji came down upon the planet earth to save mankind from itself in a century where the weapons of mass destruction had become so lethal and so large in numbers that they could have destroyed the whole world. It was a time when God could have allowed the world to perish, but he did not do so. Instead he showered his mercy and Grace upon his erring children and forgave them. The advent of H.H. Shri Bhola Nathji showed that the real face of God was that of forgiveness, love and peace . H.H. Shri Bhola Nathji is remembered for his World Prayer Crusade for Peace at a time when a nuclear holocaust was imminent.

In the pages that are to follow it is hoped that the readers can find the essence of that which they are seeking and come face to face with H.H. Shri Bhola Nathji in the innermost recesses of their hearts.

If He could grant recognition of himself to certain selected souls when he was in his bodily frame, He can grant this recognition to genuine seekers after truth even now. May he fill the hearts of all with love, happiness and peace.
